- WEEK 29 GRADE 1 Tuesday, April 1st , 2025 UNIT 14: IN THE TOY SHOP Lesson 3 I. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: -Use “I can see a _____.” to express ability. Sing a song focussing on the structure “I can see a _____.” 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Vocabulary: teddy bear, top, tiger and turtle - Sound: /t/ -Sentence pattern: “I can see a _____.” 2. Check comprehension. -Ss look and identify. -Play the recording several times for Ss to repeat line after line to make sure that they can sing the verse correctly. - Do the same with the second verse of the lyrics. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the lesson, students will be able to: - Identify the letters n and t and the sounds they have learnt - Identify some learnt words top, teddy bear, turtle, tiger. - Say the sounds and words with correct pronunciation. 1. Knowledge/ Language focus: - Sounds /n/ (letter n) and /t/ (letter t) - Vocabulary: Nick, noodles, banana, nuts,Teddy bear, turtle, tiger, top. 2. Skills: - Listening and speaking. 3. Quality /Attitude: -Actively participate in activities with their classmates in pairs, groups or class. Educate Ss to become studious and obedient students; love learning English 4. Ask him/her to pick up one letter card from the bag and read aloud the letter. Then say a word that includes the letter. If he/she is correct, his/her team gets 1 point.
